Pictures

We took LK to get her 18 month pics today. It was kind of a "disaster". She was not happy about having her pics taken. My friend Nicole took the pics. She is so patient with LK . We have a retake scheduled next week. Here are some of the cute snap shots!

Bathing Beauties

Here are my girls LK and Emma. I know Emma is not really mine but she is with me all day so she is like part of the family. They had a really good time today in the swimming pool. I know the pool is really small but we are going to rectify that very soon with a new improved bigger pool. It was so much fun to watch them in the water. LK loves playing with Emma. They have a really good time together. Emma does not stay with us on fridays and LK is so bored without her. She walks around the house during the day calling Emma's name and looking for her. It is really sweet!!!

More pics

Here some more pics of LK in her swim suit. She wasn't very happy with me while I was taking them. I understand. Notice the last picture. I make that same face when I put on a swim suit too!!

My new swimsuit

LK and I went to Auburn today to meet Mimi for lunch. While we were there we decided to go to Target. I fianlly bit the bullet and bought LK a swim suit. I know for most mothers this is an exciting thing but at our house it's a chore. I mean look at our family. We are three Redheads. Not exactly your outdoor, in the sunshine types. I have battled the sun all my life, sunburns, water blisters, sun poisoning. You name it I have had it. And of course when I have a child she has to be just like me!!!! I started to buy LK a really nice swimsuit but I knew she wouldn't be in it very much. I took her outside for 15 minutes the other day and she was already sunburned on her cheeks. (We don't stand a chance). Anyway, her fair skin is beautiful and I hope I can keep it that way............Here are some pics of her in her swimsuit and of course new hat. (We loose at least two hats a week) ..........As you can see she wasn't the happiest camper when I took these pics!!!

I have been really trying to read my bible more often. It has been such a blessing and it's amazing how no matter how often you read a passage you can still learn somthing new from it. A few months ago the Holy Spirit moved me to read Romans. I have to tell the truth. It was not my favorite book. I was kind of discouraged because I thought because the Holy Spirit had moved me to read it then I would gain some great wisdom from it!! I then read the book of Acts and it was great. I loved reading about the first church. The Acts church. Acts was such a blessing. It revived my spirits and I was ready for more. Then the Holy Spirit did it again. I was moved to read Romans again. I was not sure why it was so important to read this book again but I am trying to be more obedient. As I was reading last night I was touched by this passage. Romans 8:37-39...... No, in all these things we are more that conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I know now that this passage was the reason for me reading Romans again. Some of you may know this passage well but it has really touched my heart. It is amazing how awesome God's word is and how he speaks to his children through it. I am so thankful for being one of his children. I am now ready to finish Romans with a thankful and open heart.

More pics from Taylor's party

Here are some more action shots from the party. I wish we could have gotten more of the kids together for pics but they were way to busy!!!

Taylor's 3rd Birthday Party

We had a really fun time this Saturday at Taylor's B-day party. It was a Dora the Explorer theme. Tay Tay had a moonwalk jumper/slide and LK loved it. I was a little nervous about LK getting on the jumper because she was so much younger than the other kids but that didn't slow her down. She loved it. I can't believe Taylor is 3 years old. It brings a tear to my eye. She and my nephew Seth a two weeks apart in age and it seems like yesterday that they were born. Now they are so grown up and independent. Children truly grow up over night..........There were alot of kids at the party that we don't get to see very often. I was so glad to spend time with them and their parents.

More Tuesdays

Here are some more pics of LK and Emma. Emma wanted me to take a pic of her hair. She asks me to braid it all the time. She can't wait until her Mom and sister Maddie get here this afternoon so she can show it off. I am sure she will want me to touch it up several times before they get here so it will be perfect. You will also see a pic of LK my little computer whiz. She loves to sit at my desk and punch the keys on the computer. We also have some action shots to go

with the others. The girls love to sit on my bed and watch cartoons. This morning they ignored the camera because Dora was on. I promise Emma wasn't sad in the first pic, she was just concentrating really hard on Dora. You will see her laughing in the next pic because I had to tickle her to get her to look at the camera.

Tuesday and nothing to do!

We are having one of those days today. We don't have much to do. The girls have been so sweet today. Not a peep so far!!! I haven't posted in a while because my computer had some issues and had to go to the doctor. No worries though. All is well. We are back in business. I decided to take pics of the girls just for fun. The first pic I took of Emma in the glasses was taken last week but it was so cute I had to add it. The pic at the window is of the two of them looking for the lizard that lives on our window. No letting our windows up!!!! I also had to add the one of them hugging. They hug and love on each other all the time. So sweet!!! The pic of Emma in the floor is her acting like she was asleep. She thought she was so funny. The last pic is of my thumb baby. She is more in love with that thumb than ever!!!
